Archangels Kiss

Archangel's Kiss (Guild Hunter, #2)Archangel's Kiss by Nalini Singh

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What did I think you ask?.... Captivating utterly captivating..
Archangels Kiss... See this is what I was talking about, when I said come up with something out of nowhere, and see where is goes. Nalini Singh has this wonderful imagination that are what some of the most unforgettable books are made of. This author did just that with these angels and vampires, she made them he own not like the same o same o we read over and over again in other paranormals. This series stands alone.

Now see, this is an Angel story to sink your teeth into. I'll admit the first book of this series had me in a 'I dont know if I take anymore stage,' but once I read the first three pages... I couldn't put this book down. This book was even better. Nalini Singh is so creative with her writing. Her words are like liquid butter. They make you think and wonder. She say's things like " A hint of midnight whispered in his tone; shadows so thick they were almost corporeal."... It was like wow! I could imagine how his voice was a whisper in midnight, sounds like a caress to me.. yum... Sorry if my review is all over the place but this is just coming out of my head like an explosion.

This book was the like instrumental music to a song by Adele called Turning Tables, sensual and dark, seductive even a little erotic, but not the nasty erotic, just plain lovely, I tell you... It was even funny at times. Kept me intrance with the wonder of it all. Let me tell you there are so many things I liked about this book. The Angels the wings, the smells. I could truly go into my imagination and see, hear, taste, smell, and feel everything in this book. I love the different looks of every angel we meet. Nalini brings them to life with her description of them you can actually picture what they might look like, so many colors. I loved it, know one was the same. It made it even more enjoyable to read with so many ethnic groups of Angels and Vampires from all over the world.

I loved that this book was focused more on the romance, and the feelings between Raphael and Elena. Their love was like a song from Neyo "Say it." that Raphael is so yummy his words to Elena just had me feeling like a waffel cone thats dripping down to the floor. I also liked that coming from being so tuff as a human in the first book, Elena showed her vulnerability a lot in this as an immortal. A new baby Angel; but she stayed true to who she was though. It was also lovely see Raphael's love and attention, his possessiveness and protectiveness, he had towards Elena. He had his seven working it guarding her.... I loved the Seven too. Raphael has some bad a$$ boys that got his back. They are all different and interesting enough you want to learn more about them... Dmitri, Illium, Jason, and Aodhan just to name a few. I'd love to read about them more.. :) The only problem I could come up with this book is that there are so many to people in it I kept getting confused at times. But other than that I was seriously seduced by this story and cant wait for more..

Well have I said enough? I think so my hands hurt now... lol anyway I can't wait to get to the next book. Here is my couple Happy Reading...

Raziel

Raziel (The Fallen, #1)Raziel by Kristina Douglas

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Ok the they don't give you a half to put with your rating and if I wanted to grade this it I'd give a c+ wouldn't that be like 31/2★'s? Because this was one of those books that people will have mixed feelings for. One of those 'I like but don't love it'... I thought this was a very interesting story. I'm really liking the fallen angel genera just wish I could find me one that's a awesome love story... I'm so tired of vampires but then again these fallen angels had fangs just like vamps ooooh save me from the same ol folk lore lets just come up with something from no where and see where it goes... LOL? This book like I said interesting and strange the povs was nice at times other times I just felt like they were just thinking to darn much... I liked Raziel he just keept fighting what he wanted to darn long... Allie had to warm up to me but I ended up like her the most out of the everybody her sense of humor kept the story going for me...

Thing I didn't get is, she dies right?... no spoiler it says that in the back of the book description... Anyway he saves her from hell and takes her to his lair and of course they get together and all that but he kept saying that she would eventually get old and die...ok got me confused there I thought she was dead and was now with the fallen so wouldn't that make her immortal too?....Well I read the preview of the next book after this and I will say I am definitely curious about this series and will not give up on it and read the next one... I hope I didn't put you off this I say give it a try. I was glad that I did..
You never know you might fine something wonderful... :)

Here's my couple....Happy Reading!
