A Kiss of Ashen Twilight by Rae Lori
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Vampires, Shape Shifters, and Fairies Oh My! I Thought this was pretty good, I liked that they have a immortal leadership (Ashen Twilight House) where each immortal race rules and tries to keep them all in order and away from the eyes of mortals. I also loved Rae Lori's description of her Fantasy world and the historical part as well, took me to a place I could believe.
I thought all characters great. I liked all the action and mystery behind the elemental. I thought Jace and Ariya were good together but felt that the romance between them was a lil too slow, don't get me wrong I'm glad they didn't jump each others bones straight at the beginning. I was just hoping for more scenes of them together, what can I say sucker for romance and sexual tension.
I enjoyed reading this and will be looking forward to reading the next book to this series heres my vision of the hero and heroine

You don't get to choose you just fall. The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the best of everything they have.

Sixteen Going on Undead
Sixteen Going on Undead by Yvette Ford
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Besides all the typo mistakes I thought this was a cute story, exhausting at times but cute. I think the author spent so much time on having this poor girl run away from everything and everyone, you didn't get a chance to know all the characters personally.(yeah I like to know them) I liked the mystery of it all but wanted to know more at the same time (weird I know) I liked Lorcan his name was so cool, have to add that to the bad boy names thread..lol He was a young Vampire, 20yrs stuck at 18. I thought that was new and refreshing, reading about a 200 yr old Vamp in love with a teen creeps me out a lil.
I liked Tanesha too just wish she would have stayed put for a second and really figure things out before she took off all the time.. She did at like a typical teenager that acted her age. She wasn't at all the typical read (like all the Bella's we read about lately, you know the ones that know they are special and think beyond the regular teens)
I also liked her best friend Ronnie, once I finally got to know what he was all about (at the end) I thought he was sweet and a good friend and protector for Tanesha.
I liked this story it was short and sweet. I do wish it was a bit longer and got into a lil more detail about the what the when the why and the how's. All of sudden I was at the end they had a big show down then it was over in a snap. The romance was cute and sweet but was missing some things I can't explained it you have to read it for yourself. This book definitely needs a sequel because it was not enough for me I'm a greedy reader. ;) I♥romance ☺

Happily Even After
Happily Even After by Lena Matthews
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
This was the first book I bought on my new kindle I was sooo excited... I had read a sample of this story
before I bought and thought is would be great read. The book started off really good. I liked that it was something
different to read, with them being a divorced couple who still have the hots for each other and are obviously still in
love.
In the beginning I liked it they seem to have had a steamy relationship in the past before they divorced and the kids were
adorable and well brought up by them. But then It just seemed like everything was coming out of nowhere. First off this story
fell short. About 30% through the book they had made up and started to date each other again. I was like "did I miss something." They
Claimed they couldn't get along Mainly by Creigh the heroine she was the on who wanted the divorce for reasons I must have completely
missed cause it was never really brought up. Plus the fact that she was pregos by some other man...
By 60% into the story I still didn't understand why they got a divorce in the first place. They had the hots for each other since the third
page of the book. And why oh why would she leave a man like Dean he was so perfect in every way possible he was a good husband to her
when they were married that much I did get from this book and he was a wonderful father. It would have been better if the author thought to elaborate more in as to why they broke up in the first place... Also it seems like there is so much history that was just hinted at that you wanted to know more...
The reason for the 3*'s is I just felt like this book is missing a lot and could have actually been a beautiful story if she could have taken more time with it. I wanted to read more of Lena Matthews stories, but I'm kinda nervous if the others are gonna be the same. If you think her others are better please feel free to let me know.
Heres my couple who else to play Dean other that Dean himself from Supernatural. :)
