Well 66% of this book was a good I mean juicy good didn't want to put it down good stayed on my mind good. It was hot and heavy with goodsexual tension and good sex scenes then I get to 80% of the book... disappointing...

Well this is not what I was hoping for in a Dmitry, the second in command of Raphael's seven, don't get me wrong he was still bad ass, but there was just something missing, and I just cant put my finger on what it just fell flat to me and Honor turning out to be who she really was(view spoiler)[ Dmitry's wife from 900 hundred years ago or something...lol (hide spoiler)] was just boring I don't know... I just wasn't feeling it. She didn't match up to the way I like Ehelana's character their story just seem to drag on and on and on. Oh and the back flashes there was more foreplay in their memories than in their actual story. But besides all that I'd love to give this book five stars just for Nalini descriptions alone. They are so beautiful man that lady can put words together that sound so seductive it pulls you in to her world.

Well I think this book is for crazy teenage girls who want or fantasize about having the teenage crazy bad boy for their own lol. This book went either way for me I liked and didn't like it. yeah I know, what??? Yeah there were parts that I liked like there chemistry the hotness they felt for the other was amazing but there trust issues not so good, too one sided. I felt bad for Jude a lot of the book. I understood that they both were dealing with their own personal issues but she just seemed to bratty for me and then to jump from one boy to the other knowing and she did know she wanted to still be with Jude. I guess it just comes down to this for me I just didn't like the heroine. I loved Jude he was awesome!But the only thing I did like about Lucy was that she dance being a former dancer myself. :)

Here is my couple.... I normally like to this for my 4 or 5star reads but I haven't made one in while so I just had to put this out there you might see this guy used for some other book. :)

Shiver

I don't understand why I could not connect with this book I felt like there was no real depth to the characters... This seemed like it could have been a really good story on the same lines as twilight but there was just too much that was off and unrealistic to me. I hate to compare books to twilight cause I want to give books a chance after something so good you want every book after that to be just as good.

I didn't get her parents they left this poor girl in a car when she was young and she almost died and they weren't close to her. They were hardly every home for a kid that almost died twice you would have thought they would have been a bit more caring. I do like the both points of view but it was just a lot of blah to me..



All I can say is I tried for the second time to read this and still came up with not being able to get into the book I skimmed through a lot just to get it done I did pay full price for this book so I had to read it. Definitely will not be reading the rest of this series. But it is different for every body so dont go by my review you need to read Shiver and judge if for yourself I mean a lot of my G/Rs friends liked it...
